Frequently asked questions
What counts as a port call?
Each time you generate a pre-arrival report for a vessel arriving at an Australian port, that counts as one port call. Viewing, editing, or re-opening an existing port call does not count.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. You can change your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Yes. Captain and Agent plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time during the trial at no cost.
What is your refund policy?
Full refund within 14 days of any payment, no questions asked — just email hello@portclear.ai. After 14 days, payments for the current billing period are non-refundable, but you can cancel any time to stop future charges. Australian Consumer Law rights are not affected.
Do you charge GST?
Yes. All prices shown include GST. Your tax invoice will show the GST component separately. ABN 49 695 521 914.
Can I export my data?
You can request a copy of your data at any time by emailing hello@portclear.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted. Contact us at hello@portclear.ai if you need a copy of your data before deletion.
Is my data stored in Australia?
Yes. All data is stored in Supabase's Sydney (ap-southeast-2) region. Your vessel and voyage information never leaves Australian data centres.
